STRANGE NOISE IN 3RD :-s HELP !!!

Hey

had my leon a few days now and got a wierd problem

pulls well etc etc but has a rattle noise ..

1) sat in neutral and slight rev to 1300 rpm a rattle around the centre console
2) driving in 4th and drop to 3rd a big vibration again in the centre console and on the floor but then when i accelerate in 3rd its really loud again like vibrations ..

anyone had these problems ??

Is it noise or vibration or both?

Has it got an 'uprated' dog bone mount?

Is the centre console just vibrating or is there an actual rattling noise of some sort mate?

Sounds like either dog bone mount is loose, undertray needs tightening back up (I;ve a clip that keeps poppping out) or finally heatsheild is has been knocked around the downpipe or cat and needs bending back

It's wierd because it doesn't do it in other gears !!
It's a vibration but when I'm driving and it's in 3rd gear it's a fairly significant vibration but goes when i put the clutch in and then comes back when I let the clutch out ..
Also when I accelerate !!

Sounds like a failed mount. Where are you based, if your near Glastonbury I can get it in and have a good check over for you.

Would that make it only do it in certain gears ??
Just seems wierd only in 3rd
Unfortunately im by Liverpool otherwise would take you up on that off ..
