Quite Dump Valve.. why??

Hi Guys,

Recently fitted a Baileys DV30 Recirc dump valve to me Leon Cupra Mk1 and found that its not aloud as i first thought. I wanted a sound that is noticable outside the car whilst driving and i don't seem to have this. I have fitted a cheap cone filter to my car which i understand helps. Any ideas on how to make this louder, will a better air filter work?

Take off the bonnet lining, that might help if you haven't already.

I used to run a DV30 and thought it sounded fine, its certainly no quiter then the 008 I've got on now.
Get a big jetex cone, remove the bonnet lining and do the n249 bypass.

Bonnet lining, N249 mod will also help. If it still isnt too loud, get a Forge SplitR

Ok will attept this tonight, removing the bonnet lining wont cause any issues will it? and how easy is the N249 Bypass i keep reading up on this but worried to try it incase i f it up.

don't get split r there wank , just get a open cone filter and decent cold air feed and even with oem bosch valve(which imo is the best all rounder) you will get a nice induction whoosh

dito split r massive wank and not even a good one!!! got myself a n open cone filter, standard bosche dv and n249 bypass, dump is sweet! like everyone elses says though, if u wanted a loud dump, u gotta get an old RS turbo

Yep split r is pants. I run mine in full recirculating.

Larger tip for more air
Pay good money for a good cone filter like the jetex or apexi filters, not cheap crap
N249 bypass
remap

If that doesn't satisfy, sell for a subaru or escort turbo or other car with a massively loud chavvy dump sound

I am running the standard dump valve with n249 bypass and 80mm Jetex cone filter and it's loud when it dumps

I was going to do that n249 bypass but read to many posts saying there cars not running right since they have done it so gave it a miss.

Its easy to reverse, for every car that it runs bad, you get 20+ that run spot on. Your car, your choice
