Strange one,
Put keys in ignition, turn to position 2 and all the lights come on and fuel pump primed, go to start it and nothing happens. And I mean nothing.
Starter solenoid?
Havnt done any checks on fuses yet but any ideas would be great.

This happened to me. I only fixed mine yesterday.
Mine was Ignition switch. Steering wheel off jobby. Dead easy.

Starter motor, battery earth, ignition, flat battery.

Investigate.

this happened to mine turned out to be earth on one of the starter motor bolts which had came loose

I had the same when my starter motor was sticking. Quick test try hitting the starter motor whilst you turn the key.
