If all they have done to the FR is add 13bhp im going to be morbidly upset, I don't they will have as some sites say the new golf tdi will 181bhp with the GTD coming later, that said if you have an FR now you best get mapped or next year your going to done by entry model looking Leons and golfs

Nice. Looks sharp. Overall a positive move forward from a design perspective, from the Facelift (08+) Mk 2 Leon.

The Leon Mk2 had the distinctive sweeping line from the top of the front wings that ran diagonally down the car - however on the Mk3 this design line stays above the door handles, more generic looking.

Dont like the crease down the centre of the bonnet - like on a Vauxhall.

It doesn't look too bad tbh . I'm not sure about it being wider as one thing i like about the Mk2 Leon is that it goes in the garage easily -p/s f & r are a bonus !
I'm sure there will be a good range of models which obviously attracts buyers ie petrol/diesel/ stop/start /bluemotion etc etc ...and perhaps a 4 wd version like the Golf R /Audi S3 (If I win the lotto this week ) :)

Looks like the new Vauxhall Astra, especially from the front. Hopefully it will grow on me.

Interested to see the 3DR version as I'm not too keen on this one. Inside is nice though. Shame they've gone back to a more traditional windscreen wiper setup. I like the ones on the MK2 as they're neat.

Doesn't look too bad. I'm used to a 5 door car now having a k1. So I'm not sure the sportier 3 door will be any good for me next time round.
I doubt I'd choose the 5 door option as an upgrade to mine.

Still new cars are usually growers.

I've got a good feeling about the 3 door.

Think about the Astra H. The coupe (3 door) looks 10x better than the 5 door and this Leon has got a much better 5 door base to start from than the Astra

I don't think they've strayed too far from the basic shape of the Mk II, overall, not too bad. As Lee said, most new designs grow on you. I was expecting the rear end to be more Scirocco shaped, glad it's not. The interior looks more A3/Golf and not keen on the front end at the moment. On the plus side, longer wheelbase, wider interior, lighter, uprated engines, no more bonnet strip (no water leaks) and looks like they've reverted back to twin reversing lights.

Is very much like a grown up Ibiza in many ways. FR and cooking model look even similar than they do now again like the FL Ibiza. The bit that is a real step up is the interior looks very 'Audi' in look and material quality. Shame the hidden rear doors have gone and overall a sharper and more angular shape as per the current design theme.

Is it just me but I do see a strong hint of Kia in the design or is that SEAT in Kia these days??? I just hope they don't do what they have done with the Ibiza which is dropped the price slightly but loose even more standard kit.

Don't like the rear, the front and sides are okay.

Think it looks much less sporty than the current mk2.

Like the interior though, think that's definitely an improvement, apart from the steering wheel. The current mk2 steering wheel is perfect.

The visible rear door handles make the car more appealing to a wider market of clients which is why they will do a 3 door version. If I have read correctly the headlights are going to be standard? The LED ones shown on the car, if that's the case I am well impressed tbh.

What Car have a feature about it here. They say that the interior of the pre-production example which they sat in is a big step forward and is no longer inferior to its VW Group counterparts. That is encouraging.
