Priceys GTi 8v Cupra Sport Ibiza in Kiwi Green/Yellow

Hi guys, havent been on this forum since I sold the FR, how you all been?

Just purchased myself a 1998 Ibiza GTi Cupra 2.0 8v, in Kiwi Green, for a VERY reasonable price. It came with a full service history, full MOT, tax until january. Its completely standard, and never seems to have been raked or rallied! Just hit 100k miles, and I must say the car is in excellent condition, inside, outside, and under the bonnet!

Im working until 7am so as soon as I get home it will be washed, good polish, and then lots of pictures up

Washed the car earlier, paint is pissing me off allready the way its faded! So impressed with how nippy the car is tho, its so fun to drive!

The paint fade is one of the things with the kiwi cars now, not many that arent faded now unless they have had a respray.

Any plans for it?

thanks guys! a respray isnt within my budget at the minute, i actually dont mind the fading when the cars polished, 1 thing annoying me tho is that the passenger door seems slightly darker, i duno wether it has been resprayed at some stage, not sure if theres anything i could do to sort that out...

for the time being i just want to keep the car clean and in good condition, and have fun driving it! i honestly didnt think it would be as quick as it is, but as soon as you put the foot down its away like a rocket, definately feels like more than 115bhp! maybe in the future il get some coilovers and a set of wheels, either the white ronal 15" multispokes, or a set of bbs/replicas

need a set of standard gti skirts as mine seem to have disappeared somewhere before i bought the car, also need a rear towing eye cover, anybody got either for some dosh?

i honestly dont know what route to go down with this car. im sorta getting sick of euro, so i was sorta thinking just goin down the sporty route with the white ronals or some other multispoke/rally style wheels, lowering, and generally just keeping it clean. i have also been giving some consideration to a respray in its original colour maybe in the new year, if i can manage to save up enough money.

any ideas guys?

i havent put it back together yet,lol.

still need to spray my wheels, currently saving up for coilovers and a set of euro style rims.

cant wait until its all back together!!
