Audi tt shifter

I've heard a few people say about fitting one of these to there Leon 1P is this correct? If so does anyone have the part number please?

It does work have it on my mk5 golf gti makes it shorter but not too short really really easy to do and makes a nicer drive

Get the Forge one....The forge one is alot shorter but still isnt short enough

Can't remember part no. I would have got the forge one but I wanted to keep it oem but I get a good discount at main dealer and got it for less than 20 quid whereas the forge would probably be a lot more.

I've got a forge one which i bought a couple of weeks ago and its an amazing mod but funds are tight at the mo and shouldn't of bought it so I'll pop it on eBay :-( I'm gonna modify the std one I'll let you know how I get on in a few days

i dont think you can modify the standard one

On the MK1 Leon you can, but the MK2 Leon the standard one is a different shape that doesnt allow you to move the pin

My old man has been doing engineering & fabricator for 30 years or so and he's gonna have a go with it so if he can't do it then i suppose it can't be done but from what I can see it looks pretty straight forward with the right gear for the job ill let you know in a few days

Here's a pic of the std shifter which has now been modified

The pin was around 70mm to the centre of the hole and it's now around 50mm I'll be fitting it tonight

Thats still a very long throw compared to the Forge one, and even the Forge one isnt short enough :(
