I've just come back to my car this afternoon to find that some lowlife has "keyed" my Exeo all along the back door. The damage goes all the way through the clear coat and paint to the primer underneath so will need a little more than a bit of T-Cut. I've booked myself into "KDS" tomorrow for a quote - http://www.kdskeltec.co.uk/ I've not used them before but they were recommended to me by Lepsons who refurbished one of my alloy wheels previously. Has anybody used KDS or have someone else in the Kent area that they would recommend?

Thanks. To be honest it's just a mindset that I don't understand - I was always brought up with the ethic that if you want something you work for it, you don't become jealous of others and destroy what they have. Still, hopefully the detailers that have been recommended will be able to sort it out for me although from reading around I don't expect much change from £200 - that seems to be about the going rate to repair damage of this sort.

I feel your pain. I've got a small sharp dent in my rear off-side door, which catches my eye every time, from some inconsiderate oaf opening their door.

There's also a large scratch that T-cut failed on right across the middle of my bonnet, and a couple of mysterious scratches on my front and rear wings. I've no idea where they came from, and i've yet to do anything about them, but I'd be interested to know how you get on.

Having done the rounds of various places this morning it seems that my original estimate of about £200 was a little optimistic. The quotes are all coming in at about £350 + VAT, so that works out at £470. I've decided to go with Beadles of Gillingham - their quote was the same as the others' but they were far more thorough in their "prepping" of the repair - removing all the trim, bump strips, handles, etc to make sure the repair won't flake (rather than just masking off these areas), I've also some experience of them respraying a panel on my previous car and was very pleased with the result.

That place KDS is amazing. Check their work out on Detailing World and i'm sure you'll agree!

Some of their detailing work is amazing - did you see the Veyron? However this isn't really what they specialise in so I've ended up going for somewhere that I've used before and been pleased with their work.

If I ever decide to get my car detailed then I will certainly be popping down to KDS.

What a pisser. There really is no need for this ****.

Someone keyed my C5. Passenger side front & rear doors, rear quarter and bumper. That's a lot of car to key. It was spotless after 3 years and 53k, except that. Gutted.

Hope you get it sorted nicely - and at a reasonable cost :( ******s

Sorry to heat this. How was your parking? Somre people do that to cars if they feel that they didn't leave them enough room to open their door.

Like you say, total lowlife.

don`t matter where you park seen it many times women walking between cars with their hand bag swinging away over their shoulder keys hanging off it scratching cars, once parked up in a near empty lot down out the way from all the others on it`s own no where near any others 30 empty bays, came back to it some stupid git park so close i could not get in the car from drivers side at all the door mirrors was touching, why there was loads of space, not been there since and wont.
