well I have just refuelled mine,

Computer says I have averaged 62 mpg over 472 miles. I put in 39litres which actually equates to 55.07 mpg over 472 miles. So the gauge must read out 10 per cent ish

My car has covered almost 30K now. Average real (non-trip computer) fuel consumption I'm currently getting is 52MPG (comp shows 56MPG). If driving it like a granny I can see 59 real MPG... Taking my brain out and the figure can drop to 42MPG! When I first got the car with 11K on it, it was averaging approx 5MPG less.

Turn climate control off and I'd see a couple more MPG on top of those figures, but I like my comfort.... lol

All-in-all it's not at all bad for a nippy car!

Just a thought but maybe the fuel computer in the car is working to US gal and not UK gal... might explain the real v display difference.

Mine averages low 40s over a mix of driving. These are my own calculations. My trip computer seems to just make up random numbers that have no bearing whatsoever on my consumption.

my my10 ibiza 2.0 tdi gets about 48-52 mpg around town n that on a trip will do about 60ish mpg
