Just had MOT

Lambda value is 1.01. I figured it would be lower than 1 if anything.

The max allowable is 1.03

Anybody techy enough to know whether a remap+neuspeed intake will put this above 1.03?

Granted, that's 15.141 pounds per pound of fuel...so seemingly a bit gap, but still.

Car runs like a dream. No issues at all.
It's not got the remap and p-flo on it yet, but will do in the next month or two.

My only worry is that it will push the lambda out a bit. Not so much because of the intake, but because of the remap?

The opposite should be true...more power should be found at a lower lambda. But just checking if anybody else failed MOT after remap

Erm 1.01 is fine. At idle it'll fluctuate around 0.97 to 1.03 and will settle at 1.0 near as dammit.

So to answer the OP...remap and/or intake will not make the engine run more lean? And so it won't go over 1.03?
