You've finally decided on the new car then good choice on a LCR I looked for one but they were all dogs so brought a Skoda instead.
That's both Midnight Motors ibizas gone now. Rip.

I went for one that i know had been looked after, also wasn't fussed by mileage knowing that the ibiza engine would be going in it
Midnight Motors will have a molested leon and a rather interesting golf now ;)

A sad day mate, but like you've already said, it's not the first time you've said about breaking it so it's definitely been coming. The LCR will be an awesome car and you've wanted one for as long as I can remember!

Wait for the vultures asking about the roll cage!

I'll probably enjoy the building of it more than anything, i should really start working on that spare engine and large port head instead of pulling the other 2 cars apart.
Not sure what to do with the cage, i may just keep it in storage seeing as there almost impossible to get hold of

A sad day

Indeed a sad day mate, but I'm sure you'll have a cracking LCR in no time.

Welcome to the Leon party ;)

It's been a hard decission to make but i can always build another one if i regret it :)

Yeah the leon will be a daily and used on track as and when i want to, i've kind of lost interest in track days since getting my quad as it's cheaper to run and as much fun on and off road.

The shell needs a rear arch doing, a pair of front wings and the front end blowing over, it's not serious but i've just lost all enthusiasm for it and the expense of running 2 performance cars and a quad is taking it's toll on my wallet.

Ibiza has left the building

Well after 7 and a half years of ownership, thousands of pounds and lots of blood, sweat and tears the ibiza hs left the building :(

I'm please to say however it didn't get scrapped in the end so is still on the road, all be it with a different 20vt engine and not as highly tuned as before.

My plans have changed again with respects to the leon aswell, unfortunatly i seem to be doing more and more miles so have decided to put the leon up for sale, it's a shame as i was looking forward to seeing what it could do with the forged engine.

So once the leon goes it'll mean for the first time in 12 years i'm no longer a seat owner, i'm sure at some point i'll be back with another seat as i'm sure to have a few bits stockpiled if i can't sell them.

@roly your engine lives on I think! I've had a slightly over bored, woosner piston 1.9 for a while now.. ( about 2.5 years) its in my mk3 ibiza. I found out the file of reciepts recently looking for info, decided to google your name and jobs a good one! I say I think, as it's spun a big end bearing. I don't know if the scat rod is scrap yet. Will poss need another set of rods, and crank sorting. I thought I'd let you know it's still going!
Regards.
