You wouldnt want to drive 700 miles with that sat next to you though
Yeah, just adjust the rear view mirror so I can get a good old look at them. I could do that for 700 miles at 55MPH (on a bumpy road)

I would be interested to see what the new 1.6 diesel copas do with stop start etc.
Not as well as you might think.... They also have dpf's which need regenning which wastes fuel too....
They will be better but not by a massive margin.
Look at my fuelly
That's all with 70mph cruise speed, running average is 63.8mpg (last 10 tanks), overall is in my sig. First 3 tanks were pretty poor because I didn't know how to drive the car. If I bothered to drop my cruise speed to 60mph, and did that all the time, I'd easily have 70mpg per tank.
A lot of the reason people struggle in the 1.6CR is the way they drive it
My point was that my 2.0 pd140 is doing 62mpg... So the 1.6cr isn't that much better, which you would expect it to be beign the smaller engine etc.

Managed 62 miles out of my brimmed tank of V-Power yesterday!
Not impossible at all mate, was on track all day so was WOT almost all day! That's like 6-7mpg ain't it. Pretty impossible.
Sorry Luke for taking your thread slightly off track, just thought it was funny at the time!As above, what rough MPG and miles per tank do you get?
