On a mix of A & B roads, some motorway and around town driving I average around 47mpg so get 570-580 miles per tank. Could get more if I drove economically everywhere but I like to give it some beans every now and then. ;)

When I was doing 36 miles each way to work I got 49mpg on A roads and motorways. Now I'm doing 3 miles each way to work on A and B roads its dropped to 38mpg.

I get between 500 and 580 depending on how much motorway driving I do. I have a 38 mile round trip which is town roads an motorways and I dont drive like a granny!!

Keep debating to get one via the work company car scheme.

What are the service intervals? Normal 10k or have Seat finally done the variable?

Depends on the engine. I imagine new ones can do it.

For example, my 2010 1.6TDI can't do it, but the newer ones can.

I've seen 53MPG on a long trip (300 mile round trip) but around town etc it's reading mid 40's.

It's only got a couple of k on the clock so far.

My 2012 Supercopa CR170 is on variable I think. It tells me on the dash how many days/miles I have before the service is due.

Unless you have paid for long drain oil for variable it will still be on 10k 12 months they just count down to 10k on the dash, ridiculous interval in this day and age, but at least Seat gave 3 years free servicing with mine :D

I have a 2010 FR 170 with the DSG box and see about 42-44 mpg. The car has 24,000 on the clock, so could be needing some more hoofing to improve that figure.

Looking to remap the car after warranty period to see if the MPG will rise a bit. Being an auto box, when you're in traffic, it wants to go into 6th at 40mph & you can here the engine's not happy so have to go manual quite often.

If your car has a particle filter then long life oil will be used regardless of service interval,
all Leons can now be on long life servicing if thats what the customer wants.
Infact all models from build week 45 2010 can be on long life
Its your choice, the technonogy is there .

Not a Leon, but my CR Octy vRS with DSG averages around 42-44mpg unless I take it easy in which case it'll do 50ish, almost 70K on the clock now and heading back to the dealer tomorrow when I pick up my econobox SE Copa Leon...

My FR varied between 380 and 500 to a tank.

My Audi 170CR gets around 500 and my old man's 170CR get's over 600 LOL. (all of them were DSG too)

Mines (59 reg FR CR170) just ticked over 44K miles and on the M6, M1 this morning i was sitting at 57-60mpg (cruise set at 80mph and the 50mph roadworks slowed things down obviously).

Definitely got better as the miles have increased. The trip is saying i'll get 700 miles from the tank but thats more like 610 in reality and around 560 when the fuel light pings on and i fill it again. My usual weekly mileage consists of motorways, town and A road driving.

As for the servicing... mines leased via Lex Autolease and is on 10K miles servicing.

Never get below 500 miles to the tank, buts its anywhere between 500 and 550 (Supermarket fuel too!). MPG slightly worse in winter when the car takes MUCH longer to warm up.

This is mixed driving, which can be back roads, main roads, its my only car and gets used for everything (car now has 35k on the clock) with manual box, 18" alloys, full sideskirts, Cupra R rear etc etc, Cupra R front huge calipers and discs, roof spoiler, front splitter, 15mm wheel spacers etc etc all adding weight, plus 14 stone man (me!) with Revo stage 1, so its got extra weight over a bog standard FR CR !
