330d coupe auto is 0-60 in 6.1 seconds official figure. They are very quick though! My dads got one, still tryin to convince him to give me it instead of losing £1000s on trading it in (finance)

I think the M3 has the legs on the 330d and once you are above 4000 rpm the m3 is rapid and disposes of traffic frighteningly quick.
I reckon the lcr is not far off but the 2 cars have totally different characteristics both awesome cars in their own rights.....

Gotta say the E46 is looking dated now. Probably coz there's so many of them around.
I had a little burn up with a E92 330i. Yes he pulled away but not very quickly at all until we got to silly speeds then I run out of puff
Oh and I'm on a stock map too

I still like the M3 E46 but the rest of the e46 are severely dated!
Myself Al and another 2 passenger were in his car and ripped the a**e off a young guy in his M3 like it was a micra lol!! It's amazing how they are falling down the pecking oder in terms of out and out performance but they are based on a very old platform which on it's day was probably the best in it's class
