Used car prices gone up

I've been on off looking for a 06/07 Ibiza 100 for about a year but it looks like prices have gone up for winter I saw a few 07's for 4-5k and now it's 05/06 upto 5k. Is everyone going for the lower end diesels these days?

Everyone is looking to reduce motoring costs. Low insurance, economical but still punchy 100bhp diesel ticks alot of boxes.

I was fairly lucky, bought my Cupra tdi during the recession. Even high mileage ones fetch a good price now.

Jeez, I bought my 07 plate FR for a smidge over 5k in march! That's crazy money!

Although I noticed too that prices dropped off a fair bit after christmas, so perhaps waiting may be wise?
