Speaker rivets

Can you just knock the rivet heads off with a chisel and hammer instead of drilling them out?

My drills gone walkies lol

You can certainly try, but drilling them out is the tried and tested method. They're not particularly soft.

think you may struggle with hitting the heads off as you need to really drill the heads so as you take the plug out of the back of the rivet as well.

I think you'd do damage - can't you borrow a drill. Or buy a new one - no-one can manage without a drill!!!

I drilled mine out theyre stuck on with sticky pads as well
