i know this might create crazy responses, but i would appreciate some serious help here.

the time has come to depart with my beloved Cupra R, damn the wife!!!

basic details

black 2003 Cupra R
remapped to approx 260BHP
brembos refurbed
alloys refurbed
turbosmart Boost Valve
Neuspeed rear ARB
xenon lights
led side lights
twin pod Auto guage, oil temp & boost
mitchelin rear tyres and Falken fronts, both 5mm and over
Green air filter
NGK Platinum plugs

thats about it really, 10 month MOT, 4 months TAX

86,000 Miles with full vosa print out
2 owners from new

a few small hair line scratches, due to age
front splitter has been removed and lost since
small dent on front wing size of a £2 coin, no paint damage

remainder of bodywork is clean, interior is clean

and everything works fine.

its not worth keeping the car as i cant justify it for just 1k miles per year

i bought the car 3 years ago with 72000 on the clock and averaged about 4500 miles per year, have just got a job next to the bus station and theres no parking so it dont make sense for it to be parked up all week, just to then do the shopping run.

whats it worth guys?? autotrader, gumtree etc, prices are all over the shop, cant make any sense of it.

I would wait til next summer as ppl havent got the money atm

depends how long you are willing to wait, slower sale could yield upto 4kish but id say quicker sale around 3kish. but they are in high demand and yours sounds on paper like a decent one so id be going higher up that scale if i were you.
Good luck i would of got one if i coulda stretched to it!

Shame to see these cars going for such pennies these days, sad to see the more "savoury" of characters driving them round at the minute.

Also need to advertise it wisely where ppl are looking for this type of car that appreciate these cars ie on here,piston heads etc,tbh alot of these are getting broken as worth more in bits but as said yours sounds like a good example so aim highish but be patient to get the right money

Indeed ... it is a real shame what these are selling for now ... I remember looking for an LC / LCR in 2006 and the cheapest LCR was around £5k for a dog... my budget was £4k max at the time hence I bought my LC instead... I will never part with it for the little it is worth.

The 210's arent worth much at all these days. its worth about 3k if it has FSH.

The 225's are worth about 3.5-4k
