Stubby Aerial Problem

Had a stubby aerial on my MK4 before I traded it in, now swapped it onto my Boc.

Appear to be getting no reception with it however, is there any aerials available to buy that work fine? or am i better sticking to the OEM one?

Stubby ariels get rubbish signal i've found on all the mk5 ibizas. Best sticking to OEM if you want any decent signal.

Radio1 is fine for me but capital has gone abit crap but i dont listen to capital anymore and just stick to radio 1 so im not fussed or i have my ipod

the ibiza has terrible reception generally anyway so shortening the aerial probably isn't going to help .

I have a stubby but there is no signal, stubbys are for looks really, thank god i only listen to good old CD's

hmm, had a stubby on my mk4 and it worked fine. noticed that even the standard aerial on the mk5 gives poor reception. don't really use the radio much but its ridiculous that it doesn't work properly
