re larger valves, I cant say I noticed anything beneficial on philc car when I mapped it..
I run stock size... and dont seem to have any issue flowing >600bhp from 26psi boost :)

As Tim pointed out, i was only running the GT2X and not really utilizing any of the benefit of the head work i had done so i don't see how you would have seen any gains TBH, i even said this to you when you mapped it, maybe if it had a GT28RS bolted on any potential gains may have been more apparent??

Just read the entirety of this thread and loved it, great to see all the mods and progress you have made to date, very impressive. I'm hoping to pick up an LCR in the next few months, so expect a wave from me around Worcester if I see you! :D

and std valves are'nt holding mine back from 621bhp from 26psi boost...

larger valves on GT2X? kinda pointless.
std bore shrouds to of the inlet valves, which is why rebores help torque more than the extra displacement... more exposed area for same valve lift..

Tried dropping you a PM but your inbox is full so will post here

Hi Mate,

Just a quick question, on your motor, where the battery is in the boot is it bolted down or welded down? I'm about to order a box from alloyracingfabrications to do a battery reloco in my car and wanted to make sure if it was bolted down you didn't have any problems / anything get in the way drilling the holes?

Cheers

James

I have to say the valve is huge, makes the 007 look like a childs toy
So i have lots of things to keep me busy now

Popped down to my friends garage last night, as working in the pitch black isnt fun so thought i borrow his light
So did a quick swap out of the Forge TIP for the 80mm one
So old vs new

Then 10 minutes later once all back together

Filter needs a bit of a clean but obviously flowing ok, as at 6.5k limp mode is back, although as of the 25th it wont be a problem
