Thanks

My guess, and it is that, is 205/40/17 they were what I was looking at previously... but I'm sure someone will be along to correct or confirm. It would also depend on how low your car is too so bear that in mind.

i had tt rims on mine with 205-40-17s on..lowered on coilovers..with just a small amout of rubbing on the front arch liner..
i should have changed to 195-40's but i sold the wheels before hand.

i lowered mine about 50mm over standard

Heres my Mk4 Cupra on TT comps, FK sport edition plus coilys- no adjusters in rear an about 3 threads left on front with a 205/40/17 tyre combo. Had 15mm spacers on rear but dragged paint of arches!!

With 205/40's you'll need to trim down the arch liner and metal where the front bumper meets the wing if going quite low. 195/40's would do the trick on the front.

My red ibiza posted above had no adjusters in the back and the front has about 3 thread left on the coilover. Its rubbed holes in the arch liner whenever i hit a little bump.
I had 15mm spacers on the rear and with just me in the car and only the spare wheel etc in the boot it rubbed like mad and started to take the paint off the arches. I either need to run 10mm spacers or have the rear arches flared- not rolled as there is no lip on the ibiza.
