Can anybody confirm whether the co2 figure for a 5dr 06 fr tdi is 143 or 139 for ved purposes. My logbook says 143 so it's in the slightly higher tax bracket. But I've seen elsewhere it's 139. Confused.

When was the car registered?
If it's before 16/01/2066 its classed as 143g/km
If after that its 139g/km

depends on your engine code. The BLT (which mine has) is £120 for the year

Lucky buggers. I pay €320 a year on a 1.2 5 door. Not sure about in the uk but in ireland if you think the tax is in the wrong bracket inform your local tax office and they may be able to change it

34€ a year here, up to 1600cc, that's just under £30.
79€ for a 1700, £68.34

Same problem with my FR, 1st registered Dec 04 so should be 139 according to every site but logbook says 143.

I did actually send an email afew years back to DVLA about it but they said i need to get in contact with Seat blah blah blah to confirm the correct details then get back to them with the proof, So i thought stuff it to much hassle for £15.
