Replacing rear wheel bearings yourself? How easy is it?

Need two new rear wheel bearings on my Ibiza tdi, apparently they come as a whole unit. Anyone ever replaced theirs before?


Also need front tie rod end ball joints replacing, sounds much harder, any ideas?

Wheel bearing replacement is easy on the rear. I think you need a 32mm 12 point socket. Have a search on here for confirmation. Half hour job start to finish

Track rod ends are easy unless seized

make sure you have some decent mole grips for the track rod ends! and a lot of wd40!

Have tracking checked and set after replacing tie rod ends.

Rear wheel bearings hardest bit is pulling them off, I had to cut my rear one not damaging the stub axel.
