Help!! removing roof Aerial

Hello, i have a 2012 facelift fr and i cant seem to work out how the aerial comes off! It unscrews to a point then it just stops. I try to pull it but it wont budge! Any ideas caus its really annoying me! Cheers guys

I had the the same problem on my Mk1 Fabia VRS.... if its anything like the Fabia (I would think it is) You just unscrew it and then give it a pull and ut will come off mate !

hey i did this yesterday with my mates mk2 leon you have to lay it flat then proper tug at it ti should pop out

Its designed to be an anti theft aerial - (I don't know who steals aerials anymore)

I think you have to push it down then pull quite firmly

Just keep pulling and pulling! Hold the base too.

I did it, gave up but annoyed me so much I did it when I got to work and it came off eventually. They did a great job with anti-theft lol.

it's a bit disconcerting when you're pulling it cos you have to yank quite hard lol, but it was the same on my mk4, just pull it as hard as you can.

Thanks guys ill give it a go later. Ill try not to pull it with 2 hands, dont want it to come off and me go arse over tit lol thanks for your help

get some hot water on the rubber makes it easier i did mine just after i washed the car so rubber was softer, unscrew it move it down and pull it out its only a tiny flat bit at the base of the aerial.
