Hi I've been using dodgey fuel for the past 2 weeks I was gettin it off a friend from his work for 15 quid for 25 litres! I was enjoying cheap motoring :-D. Until yesterday my car had an abrupt hault. I drained the tank and found that this fuel messed up my fuel pump. Got a new 1 today and also 25 quid normal diesel, I tried starting the car and it was just cranking and not starting. I primed the lines and It still doesn't work. What should I do? Thanks guys

The sh1t in the fuel has probably done your injectors, and clogged your fuel filter, try changing your filter first

As above i would deffo change the filter next. Not a bad idea anyway. Hopefully the filter would have stopped the worse. If you get it running again i would say put through a couple of tanks with injector cleaner added.

Best of luck hopefully you will be ok.

I will defo run the additives. The diesel had somthin else in it, it's dryin on my drive with a white crust on it. My mate works at a jet washing place and obv must have got some acid in it, even if he won't admit it

If you need a strong injector clean you can get this injector cleaner which you put neat into a new fuel filter and then run the engine on the neat cleaner and that should give the injectors a good clean.
I cant remember what its called at the moment but I used it on my transit connect when the injectors were playing up.

I would take the filter off and see if any gunk is inside it which would indicate if the injectors are blocked. But if lots of acid had gone through the injectors if could have destroyed the seals inside the injectors!!

Because he could have used a barrel from when he does the jet washing wich could have had an acid based soap in it and put my diesel in the same barrel not noticing he's had acid in it

that sounds like AdBlue to me, dries white and resembles ice or snow crystals, nasty stuff if it gets on your skin.
Not too sure how it affects diesel if added direct, normally injected separately to clean up emissions.

Sounds like a good mate :( Hope you get it back up and running again soon...

Few words of advice...(i work at a authorised skoda specialist)
check fuel tank for small shinny metal speckles. Means the fuel pump has basically self destructed.
Depends what type of diesel if its the direct injection PD engine or the other remove the fuel line that goes into the injector and check the injector fuel port for these small metal particles as that would be an issue.
take out the fuel filter doubt you would see anything on it but check the container it came out from and look at the bottom where the left over fuel is for signs of 'badness'. for example small bubbles show water.
You may have changed the low pressure fuel pump in the tank but it may have affected the high pressure pump (if it has one dependant on engine) which is found at the front right of engine, driven by the cambelt.
You may still have the old fuel in the lines thats slaughtered injectors if the fuel lines are metal from the common rail then crack off each one at the injector 1 by 1, retightening before a friend stops cranking the engine, while someone starts so it kicks some fuel out under the pressure... messy job so have a cloth ready but helps get air out the lines or any possible blockages.
If you are struggling to solve then take out the injectors send them off for testing (google search will help) and get them checked over. Come out easy just undo the retaining bolts and they should gentally yank out. Must stress be careful as delicate and easily damaged, especially the tip when fuel comes out.

Hope some of this helps

Best case is the fuel filter has had it....more than likely even if its something else effected.
I see EML on and diagnostics says too much water in filter all the time as good old asda and other supermarkets use such bad watered down fuel!!
Additives are a good plan dont cheap out though. Diesels are such touchy engines and built around emissions cheap is never the way.
