tyre pressure light on after stalling

Hope someone can help, after stalling the altea xl, the tire pressure light came on, and wont go off, tried holding reset button down but no luck. Any ideas? wilf

Have you checked that one of the tyres hasn't actually lost air?

yeh, tried it. Puped all 4 tires up tonight, pushed pressure button, but no luck. See that it is a common fault on Passats after stalling. VW had to reset it. VW answer is after stalling turn off engine wait 5 sec , then restart. UNBELIEVABLE. Just thought there might have been another way to get light off without going to main dealer.

Best bet if you can't find simply way to reset is find a forum member near you that has VCDS and will reset for you for beer money! Instead of going to a main dealer.

Don't know where you are but there are loads of members that have VCDS.

I'm in Liverpool if you or any other member are close and near VCDS.
