widetrack

Golf mk3 non gti arms

Poss golf 3 drive shafts as there 15-20mm long and the g3 inner and outer track rods as there slightly long iirc

You may get away with the standard cupra stuff tho

Your probs want camber adjusting top mounts too which then need to swop your front springs to race/slim springs (same as rears) which will need a top spring seat machining to match the spring to the oem top bearing (if using compbrake topmounts unsure on other makes if there are any) and the turett needs die grinding

and no spacers on the front

Only reason i havent completed wide track yet is because of the top mounts need modding to fit (and i cant adjust my coilies as there seized) and my brakes have 10mm spacers built into the bell so i need arch work.

Wishbones fit tho lol

Cheers mate. That helps alot!

Are the top mounts a must? Also will the stuff off a golf mk3 vr6 fit or are they the same as the gti?

Is it just the gti/vr6 wishbones that dont fit? I.e will the steering arms and track rod ends fit off these models? Just asking because im about to buy a near complete vr6 for £80

side effects of VR hub change are:
brakes wont bolt on, different offsets..
ARB needs changing to a VR6 style one
wishbones for VR6
4x100 drive flanges would need to be pressed in..

Upside is wider track, more caster and far better handling

So what does this mean for the brakes, ICR brembos won't fit? What brake options does it leave?

So vr6 hubs (with 4x100 pressed in), vr6 wishbones and anti roll bar will all bolt on and make it widetrack?

Will also need vr6 brakes and steering arms and track rod ends yes?

This is what I'm wondering... What good brakes will fit these hubs?
