dump sound on my lcr

Ive just fitted a cone filter on my lcr and im still struggling to get the dump woosh sound is a 007p needed to make it more audible ?

A remap would make a difference So get a remap and it should dump louder because its boosting more. Mine isn't that noticeable though. Unless I turn the radio right down. Is this how loud yours is? Have you removed the bonnet lining?

No I still have the bonnet lining

Definitely getting a remap but just want to get bored of the standard power first haha

I've still got mine fitted too so I think removing this will DEFO make a difference. People in another thread have said there's not much of a purpose for it, sound deadening being 1 of them. So give it a try and let me know if it makes a difference. Been working a lot lately so not had much time to remove it myself.

Get an escort RS turbo.

I'd fit a TIP and decent cone filter.

I removed my bonnet lining, it really doesn't make that much difference.

Definatly not fittted for the purpose of noise. Will make a noticeable difference to the way the car drives.

I have done the N249 Bypass (about £8) fitted a Jetex Filter (£43) and the dump is loud. Loud enough for walkers on the pavement to turn.

A remap is WAY overkill to achieve a louder sound.

I have just removed my bonnet lining and don't listen to what anyone says it makes it louder. Just imagine a carpet under your bonnet. It's obviously going to stop some sound. It's not hard if that's what your thinking either honestly pal. Also that's what I thought a TIP won't make it louder at all. Just adds bhp, makes it abit quicker.

My n249 bypass made a massive difference. Bonnet lining i'm not sure about but its still removed
My new standard dv also sounds a lot better...

I was thinking about going back to a standard 710N instead of my 007.

When I tried one a few months ago the car sounded completely different..... In a good way!
