Door locking mechanism

Hi
after few times I had it on the bench it still fails to open the door. when i took it apart and resoldered everything and greased it all up it work for two days and now its failing to open the passager front door.
I want to get new part and try it.
Will the locking mechanism from mk4 golf fit?

Yes it will ive got one in my car

I tried this on mine but it was doing my heading so i unplugged it and just lock it manual now instead.

£40 or less on ebay ain't worth the hassle of trying to repair tbh

Did mine yesterday. Bought one from TPS as needed it straight away. Think it was £100 though : (

I fitted one of the ebay mechs on saturday for someone, think it was about £25 and everything worked as it should

Ordered one on Tuesday off eBay 25 quid was here the next day

Ronnin fitted mine last weekend which was a brand new ebay one for £29. Came next day and works a treat.

why and how do they fail?
mine was apart few times and it was checked throughout and it should work. but when on the car it works for day or two and it fails again.all the joints are resoldered and micro switches checked.
