the common ibiza lambda malfunction code.

+25% fuel adaoption and next to no volts on b1s1

I suspect wiring/resistor deletes have damaged the ecu :(

Seen this many times, not found a fix for it.. included rewiring everything to do with lambda direct to ecu, still would'nt fix it.

I think ecu damaged on outputs.. somehow.. Resistors draw too much current out of ecu imhp

i guess the only fix is remove the resistors, check wiring and change the ecu?!

May as well go wideband if changing the ecu anyway no?

ok logs after lambda change, car feels a lot better and drives, but before i go and take it for a decent run and not be able to get home can some one just have a quick look and let me know their thoughts.

ps no more code i cleared it and it hasn't come back.

took it for a blast no fault codes and no misfire car seems to be going ok. will just have to wait and see. seems to be fueling right now to.

well when i first got my car it had a dodgy pre cat lambda, and when on full boost it use to cut all ignition and the car would kangaroo violently. replaced the lambda and it all worked ok.

Now just done a 60+ mile trip to go collect the other half, car was running sweet as a daisy, and then i got limp mode in 5th gear.

17535 Long term fuel trim to Rich.

I cleared the code and now the car is hesitant in low revs seems to go then stop and then go again.

High revs seem fine, any idea what could be causing the over fueling, or does it look like Bill was right and the ECU has had it?

Not good news dude, seems a random fault to be acting in such a way low revs but find high end, maf readings ok?

as for Sid x 1! Possible the issues he's having isn't been helped by you posting your crap! It's called a signature go and google it!

Aye and the fault only happens once I have had the17535 code for long term fuel trim to rich and then cleared it. Really strange. Gonna do some 3rd gear logs tomorrow and post them up see if any one can see any faults

Hi bill. It's 17535 which is coming up.

Long term fuel trim to rich.

On the positive note no more limo above 6k rpm. :). Just taken some logs so will post them up in a few mins.

lambda ONLY controls under cruise and idle.. WOT it runs of map tables based off load/airflow etc

airflow reads very high... sure this is the right maf element in there? ends 040 for narrow band..

I've spotted a 250+ g/s in there... 312bhp? K03s? Something's not right.....


As for a bad thing? Bill will correct me if I'm wrong :) but if it reads 250 g/s then its going to try and fuel for that air flow... Causing your mega rich code?

Well the 1st set of logs want just 3rd it was just driving to the private road to do the 3rd gear run. Think need to bringthe car to bill haha

Aye tuccker what you say makes sence, but im now con fused as to why it is reading this?

to clarify the 1st of the 3 logs was just driving going through each gear. the middle log is 3rd gear run from low rpm to the red line and then the 3rd log is after i recieved the 17535 code and cleared it.

What other things can i check?

Sorry my bad the log where you are seeing 250g/s tucker is my mates s4 from 2 years ago acidentally saved part of his log. if you look below it you will se ethe logs for the 1.8t.

Dude you need to only post your car in a log... Not mix it up with others!!! Haha

What about the 214 g/s in the other log? Is that yours? 267bhp is still high as bill says.,

Take the maf back to the dealer with a log showing it over reading and demand a new one.... You may have to take it on the car and show them a log live
