views on cold side dump valve kit.

hi guys im looking to buy a cold side dump valve kit just seeing if any knows if there any good and if im going to see any improvment out of having one cheers.

Dv noise might be louder, engine bay will look cool and apart from that they are a waste of money imo , forge argue moving the dv away from the standard location helps prolong the life of the dv as it's colder down by the front of the bay.

I recently undid mine, it just complicates the pipework and adds extra potential leaks, it does look nice though.

Cold side relocation is a time old argument, yeh its great having as much cold air as possible, but when its being forced through a pipeing hot turbo it makes no real diffrence.

Id say dont waste the money on the pipe, and if your venting to atmos definetly dont bother.

Do it yourself for half the price of forge. There is less noise if you ask me on mine
