So I've got a bit of a strange one. Recently mine has started sounding a lot more rumbly almost like an aftermarket exhaust. A lot of people have asked me what I've done... nothing... but it just sounds sooooo much better  and it also feels like the car is picking up a bit better, I can feel the boost much quicker. Any ideas?? Is it worth fixing it??

That's what I was thinking, it hasn't seemed to affect anything apart from put the power up a bit more and sound better :p

Mine fell off on one of my old cars!

Came off before the cat and ripped a massive hole in the back bumper on its way down

Get it fixed asap

oh damnit :( it must be about the same place as yours then cos I cant hear it coming from the backbox, somewhere further up near the engine bay

my exhaust was sounding pretty damn nice like yours, a deep rumble for about a month, suddenly started sounded sooo shiiiit then out one night, changed down for a roundabout, nice big pop and it sounded like a Chav-box :D

The exhaust pipe going into the backbox broke off so literally i had no backbox (thankfully it didnt come off the brackets).

Didnt notice any power difference, maybe a little loss in pickup (but imo it did sound amazing on a good rev, just a nightmare driving on a dual with the drone...) and my fuel mpg was toooooootally buggered.. think it went down to well under 30 lol.

Yeah everyone is right, exhaust pipes are completely pointless, and who cares if they are leaking dangerous gasses into your car that will make you unconscious/kill you. Experts from the internet said it will be ok, so just leave it as it is.

Lol this is becoming a heated discussion then.... Could have put that in better words rather than sh*ting on everyone like this. Ravi was interested if this would be damaging his car. Not health if to be specific.

Reg cutting a hole in your bumper, i think i remember seeing miltek doing a discrete one with downswept outlets designed for the pre face lift with no hole in bumper.
