Which are the best all rounders!
What do you have?
Score out of 10?

I'm purely after lows.

I did a search and i know Tom I think had issues with his?

Easily solveable?

I'm looking at TA Teknix or FK's from DPM

Straight fit? Anything to look for when fitting Coilovers?
Any hard parts/tricky parts as a heads up?

Thanks

I use AP's give good lows, ride and handling is great. Damien at DPM sold me them so I'd give him a shout.

I fitted AP, they arnt bad at all for the price.
JOM will get you very low, but are poor quality as they are very cheap.
Iv actually been thinking about getting some better ones to fit to mine for track use, but I dont really know what I would do with the AP ones I have on now lol.

all depends what you can take for ride comfort?

everyone says the apex springs are bad but due to previous cars i found them fine

i now have the ta ones (due to getting brand new set VERY cheap) and they are wound all the way down front and back and yes they are bit harsh when hitting bumps but i dont find them to bad tbh but i dont know if thats because i expect it to be bad due to being low?? may think different if i was wound half way down as i would expect it to be softer......

i personally couldnt spend 500+ on a set of coilovers just because i wanted to be low hence why went for cheap set as once they are set at a height wont really move, if i didnt want low i would have stayed with the apex springs or even gone for a shock and spring set up.

Hmm I wonder which brands have the Stainless Steel dampers/threads. That's a point I never thought of Paul

Thing is with cheap coilovers when you slam them and you hit a bump you bottom out the dampener which leads to leaking shocks and constant knocking noise... Yeh you can get warranty on cheap coilovers buts its a faf keep takeing them off sending them back ect . Ive bought cheap coilys and wouldnt again would rather just save that extra few quid and buy decent

i have kw v1 inox lines which i believe are stainless steel, there all the way down on the back and pretty much on the front, the ride is quite harsh handles amazing though.
