LCR - Cheap noise

Basically i want my LCR to be louder and have a nice note to it. Im running a standard exhaust atm and either goin to get the mid box cut out or get the back box removed and just run a straight pipe with the standard tip.

Im not payin the money for a cobra or miltek as it would be a waste of money for all im after.

What do yous think would be the beter one to go for, im guessing back box as its masive in comparison to the mid box???

Taking out just the middle box won't make a load of difference volume wise, will be a bit meatier but not a massive change. Taking out the backbox will make it sound s**t.

not sure about a cheap noise from the exhaust. If you havent done it already you could drill a shed load of holes in the air box and add a bigger cold air feed.

Honestly, go and buy yourself a full 3" Cobra non resonated system, with the Decat. You will see why when you hear one in the flesh.

cherry bomb? if you want a louder deeper note you need a bigger less restrictive exhaust
and ideally more power going through it.

maybe speak to an exhaust maker to just make up a new rear section modified for sound?
