This is probably the wrong subject area but.....

Why o why do people have such big footers with pictures etc when they post threads? I think it really breaks up the viewing of a thread when there's more footer info than the actual replys. Things like Scoobynet is a good example of how it should be.

If I had my way, I'd ban them all or just allow a 2 of three line text footer.

What do other people think?

Or alternatively you can turn them off from the USER Control Panel.

goto USER CP

goto EDIT OPTIONS

scroll down to
Show user's signatures in their posts?

click NO

Then you wont see them anymore.

But it has been said before i do think some of the signatures could go on a diet, but id rather it be self legislated than me banning them, as a user you have the choice to view them or not.

Yep... its actually hard work to see the text when theres a huge leons backside taking up the space.
I don't want to turn the sigs off as the majority are fine and often its handy knowing what mods they've done if your trying to help.
Must be a nightmare for anyone with poor speeds or a slow pc.

tbh, usually if we see them , we'll ask the user to drop the size of it (or use a different smaller pic) so, i guess if we miss one , then if it offends you to the nnnnth degree, you could always use the *Report Post* button

Or maybe there should be a name and shame section? I wouldn't even mind sometimes if it was a nice car....
