I would say, change your front tyres for the rear and try and get all 4 to be changed at the same time and try the continental's ... it will be worth it!!

Well my wheels are away to get recoloured and when they return I will be changing them front to rear.
Although tyres at over £200 each do I really want to change 4 at once:confused:

You have to be considering the Michelin Pilot Sport 3's in with these too? they are in the price range.....

Have to agree, had the rosso's, conti 2 & 3 and also Dunlop sp and the pilot 3's are ace.

Quieter than all the others, better wet trip and worked in the snow. You can define fly push on with confidence with these. I use my car for work so go through quiet quickly so it's easier to compare as they get eaten.

19" on the cupra r so prices jump considerably

Bloody hell, yeah, they do go up a notch!, just as expensive for Michelin Premacy's i assume.

considering that the tyres are the only thing keeping you on the road and its only usually a hand width in contact with the tarmac, you may as well pay the little extra. it may save your life IMHO of course.

but its personal choice, different people prefer different things

me, id rather buy quality than budget brands

I've got Rosso's on Cupra Mk2, 18" alloys - really bad road noise especially on motorways. Rear seems to be worse, even though they have loads of tread left and seem to be wearing evenly.....can't wait to try sumin new! Tempted to try the goodyear eagle f1 asy 2's - seems to be good reviews on them. Willlet you know soon...

Lol my 17s worked out about 90 per corner fitted and delivered

Goodyear assy 2s

I thought the rim protector was on the pirellis, they seem more prominent on the p zero rosso than on the assy 2s

On mine, both were a good tyre, not much in it for anything but not really pushed the goodyears on a proper summers day. Both have kept me on the road

Just had 2 uniroyal rainsport2 fitted to the front of my K1. So far they have been really good in both the wet and dry. Paid £120 to a local garage as my old conties were bald (Woops!) but BC have them for £116 fitted.

Goodyear Eagle Asymmetic 2's on my front. Best rubber I've tried. Much less spin on my heavy right foot. Paid about £160 each delivered for my 19"
