There are probably 1 million threads on tyres but from what I can see Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - 225/40R18 92Y XL FP TL are the rubber of choice on the Mk2 Leon Cupra. My K1 is munching through the fronts and will requiring new ones soon.

Looking online, I saw them for £99.95 each. Good price?

Oh and I think that's just delivered. Any suggestions on a better tyre for daily road use and/or best place to purchase would be appreciated

Michelin pilot sport 3's

Buy from Costco & the price includes fitting.

Last time I went they had a deal on which was buy 4 & get a 25% discount, so 4 tyres for price of 3

I know what you mean I have just picked up a new gsr 750 which has bridge stones on nothing like the much 2cts I have on my zx10 r

Conti tyres don't last as long as most but grip well
