Forge split r valve

Are these any good? I want an atmospheric dump valve but know that the Leon's don't really take to them, has any one got any experience with a split valve?

want noise fit an open induction kit but stick with recirculating dv...

avoid split-r they dont seal

Thanks for your reply. I do get the whistling now from air been sucked in but wanted the blow off noise

Are you remapped yet? once more boost goes through you should get more dump noise but its never going to be that loud.
Lots of threads on here about the split r valve... mostly problems...

Limp mode lottery with the Split R, best of luck if you do buy one.

Stick with diverter (Forge 006/007/008) and fit an open cone. Higher boost (by remap) will give more blowoff sound

Ive had one on for about 3-4month so far its never gave me a problem :-/ ive set it open 26 clicks im stage1 map

Ahhh traumapat its been a while! Haha! This dirty blonde is getting more involved with the engine now haha!

Think i will try a 007 or something and due to fit an open cone and have a remap in a few weeks along with silicone hoses fitted.
