Nime box or resistor mod?

Hi everyone I'm going to see if I can sort my slow speed fans today and was just wondering which is better the nime box or resistor mod.? I've heard with the resistor mod the high speed fans will hardly ever come on is this right? As mine currently come on if I'm in traffic or at idle every few mins!?

As above the high speed should hardly ever come on if the slow speed is fully functional, do the resistor mod, it's cheap and very easy to do.

Jamie do you leave your air con on? If so high speed fans will pulse due to lack of slow speed fans providing air flow through air con radiator. I've checked on vagcom with mine and it can hit 105-108deg before high speed fans come in, so I sometimes use air con button to force fans on to keep things cool in there, need to do resistor mod though soon! Dan don't think you're far from me, have you done resistor mod on yours? Any chance of calling in some help if I need it when I get round to doing mine lol

I read somewhere the Nime box requires your air con to be on, in order for it to work? I'd rather get the resistor mod done if that's the case, If I'm wrong I hope someone can correct me.
