Remap... 2 weeks... clutch slip!!

Well unfortunately my oem clutch couldnt handle the remap... doh!! Started slipping in 5th and 6th under load. Recommended clutches for a stage one lcr?! If possible dont want to spend mega bucks. Any links would be grateful

std luk pressureplate, Sachs 4 puk paddle.. oe lightness, slightly better bite, reasonable price.. retains dual mass so no rattly gbox afterwards

no links but i bought mine from helix in banbury
phoned them up in morning and picked it up newly built 3 hrs later
as for the sach organic you can see them on ebay

Mine doesn't rattle it's a Valeo kit.

I have an LUK smf conversion, there is a little vibration under 2k revs but then it goes away, it's hardly noticeable.

Mine didn't to begin with, Has got noiser with time. Nothing drastic but it can be heard on idle.

That was read on the torque app on samsung though. Ive had 36psi spike in 2nd gear! Surely the app is wrong?

I have the luk and sachs paddle set up on my Hybrid Cupra 290bhp , it can be a bit snappy and hill starts are fun but it does get the power down and if driven normally it is no different.

Would this be suitable for a stage 2 leon cupra? I know it is suitable for the AUQ engine but would this handle the power fine?

Looks like it may not be my clutch and I may have overboosting issues! Its boosts more... you can hear it does but then eases right off and feels slower than it was standard almost! Any reasons for this??

Wouldnt go by what torque app says, mine sometimes peaks to 20psi on a standard map looking at the torque app. Log boost on group 115 with vagcom for an accurate boost reading.

Surely at that boost level it is a stage 2 not a stage 1???????

Mine is spiking to 28psi (on my boost gauge) then drops down to 19-20psi.

btw my car is booked in with Bill to sort the map, so taking it easy and not allowing it to boost past 15psi, which is a pain in the ass!!!
