Thoughts on Golf R caliper covers?

Hi guys,

Thinking of getting a set of the MK6 Golf R caliper covers to fit to the front brakes of my K1.

Similar to this:

Plan to spray them red and maybe add a 'cupra' stencil.

Too tacky?

The Golf R ones are super expensive!

If you plan to paint them red why dont you just but the plain red ones that come on the facelift Cupra/Cupra R and stick some stickers on them?

Would these fit the fr preflpp fl?

No they only fit the Cupra Calipers im not even sure if they fit the Pre-FL Cupra ones

Hmmmm, may have to have a play with the compression spring bracket and see what I can do. I remember seeing someone weld a plate to it but cant find it now....may have been on ed38
