hi ok so my lcr radiator fans dont work at all even with the air-con being turned on, so im a correct in sayin its either goin to be the radiator fan control unit below battery part no. 1JO919506K

and if that dosnt sort it then il need radiator fans aswell?

iv already replaced the coolant temp sensor. and i know i can get access to vagcom to clear any faults after fitting a control unit if needs be.

yes or no (is there more to it)?????

have you checked the fuses on top of battery.. ..ususally when the slow speed resistor fails, the fans come on at high speed every few moments if i remember rightly

my fuses are all ok, and my fans do cum on high speed of a few moments or nothhing like that, is the resistors still likely to be the cause?

If your fans come on only at fast speed, thats because you slow speed resistors are fried. My money is still on resistors.
