£132 ,4k loan (bought car two yrs ago)
£280 fuel
£50 insurance
That's not including maintenance I am getting tighter in my old age rant over

Insurance £132
Petrol £320- £400 ( depends what happens at the weekends)
Tax £23 (£280 devided by 12)
Tyres £63 that's 2 sets of 4 over the year averaged out over 12 months

So £538 - £618 depends on petrol lol

Oh sh#t that's depressing :(

the loan is an interesting inclusion, as that I assume would apply to any car from a mini to a Ferrari, so its not the leon that's costing you that, that you taking out a loan.
Running even a frugal car would be costing you a similar amount assuming similar purchase price.

on this basis you also forgot depreciation, lets say that's another £100 a month.... ;)

however, what does the car give you back....?

Yeah true that's a big part of it and I much rather drive the leon than a 'normal' car
