Took the Leon on to Oulton Park yesterday - was meant to take the 135, but had insurance woes.
As it happened, there's no way I'd have had as much fun in it as I'd not have wanted to push it so hard.
Came off once at rather high speed at the expense of my arch liner and tracking, didn't give my tyres enough of a warm up, anyone there would have heard them squealing the rest of the day
However, super happy with how the Leon performed, just need to sort the couple of bits, get some new brake pads and back on!!!
Managed 10mpg over the day, 170 miles cost £130 hahaha!!

Don't let her go!! Will be another sad end to a Lcr . Had similar damage to mine ( lovely man in a transit stoved in the side and cleared off ) . Couldn't let mine go!! Difference is yours is out your own pocket as I guess insurance doesn't cover it.

jake - I'll give you a shout for a rough idea, but I really don't know what/if I'm prepared to spend.
cupraslayer - yeah - it's sad, but I've got no one to blame except myself, and I did kinda know it was a possibility of using it exclusively on track .. just didn't think about how I'd feel if it actually happened haha

It's still going strong, done a fair few track days since. Standard seats now out, have 2 sets of ronals but it really just gets used for fun..

Picked her up on the 31st Jan, done just a touch over 400 miles since doing so and needed a clean with all the snow and crap. Sadly no beforehand pics as dad stole the Canon EOS, so I had to stick my PAS camera on charge.. Anyway, let me know what you think!
