full beams wont stay on?

Had my headlights out last night to give them a clean and once done plugged them back in.
Tested through all th edifferent lights to make sure everything was fine but couldnt get full beams to click on, they would flash but not stay on.

Is the issue at the lights or in the car as its been sat for 2 years and i hadnt noticed any issues until last night, were all working before i took it off the road.

any advice wlecome

Silly question I know,
But did you have the car running when you were testing the lights??
As full beam wil only flash if you only have keys in the ignition, only work properly if engine is running!!!

Switch be knackered probably.

I had the same problem and indicators were dodgey

+1 I had a similar problem. The switch had blown. Both my dipped and main didn't work though, only sidelights, it did however still let me flash.
