Dash headlight always on but dim

I've had this happen before but can't remember the cause.

The headlight light on the dash is permanently on be it dim. I think it was something to do with water getting into a headlight plug but I'm not 100%, anyone happen to know?

Wind the switch back a little and see if it gets brighter, Mine does this,.

Definitely check your headlights. Just had this on my LCR had the headlights on for bout half hour and used a hair dryer to speed up the process lol. Light has gone off the dash and all is well

Yeah mine did that on a really wet day and headlights steamed up.

Sorry for the thread revival, this has occurred on my LCR this weekend. At first my lights were steamed up but they dried through the day with headlights on but I've still got a dim dash light. Any other suggestions?
