uk spec S3 has 300 bhp

Running costs
Urban mpg 31 mpg CO2 rating (g/km) 162 g/km
Extra Urban mpg 48.7 mpg
Average mpg 40.4 mpg
Performance
Engine power 300 bhp Engine size 1984 cc
Acceleration (0-62mph) 5.3 seconds Top speed 155 mph
Wheel drive Four Wheel Drive

All three cars S3 , Golf R and Cupra will share the same engines , only slight differences between the 3 , but im sure after a remap all 3 will produce the same amount of power.

This may be interesting for some

http://www.arnoldclark.com/new-cars...dr-300-ps/brand-new/ref/blk_l1fgiu78x2mtkm0y/

Funny they are advertising the R with a photo of a GTi and the plate says GTD

one thing i will say is the mk6 golf R prices are going to plummet fast if you can buy a new one for that , even if its a poverty spec.

i saw a new S3 on the road the other day and they look nice much nicer than the older model but i think the interior is horrible.

what spec you got Al?
discount?
you can pm if you prefer?

It all depends when that article came out and what context the article was written around ?
Seems to me it I was talking about the brand in general hence the name dropping if
Models and future profits.
The 4wd st estate has been bounded around for months now , only time will tell what happens with the R or not but it is part of seats branding line up of old so no suggestions why it won't feature again.

I agree with what people have been saying about the delay in the car actually being shown it is utterly stupid! For those that have ordered Mk7 Golf R's , S3's, etc has anybody considered the TT-RS & RS3?

With the TTRS starting at over 40K................... Still waiting to see what price the new RS3 starts at, pretty sure that will also be round the 40K mark.

Peeps, for those of us excited about seeing the new Cupra and it seemingly have taken an age, I think SEAT are bringing this to market quicker than it has historically with Cupra models. Normally we'd have FRs for a year at least before the Cupra follows. This time round the FR's came at the same time as the MK3 launched, so we're getting Cupra quicker.
