I've searched and searched but cant find any decent threads on the Lambda sensors.
I'm getting EML for pre cat but cant for the life of me find the sensor on the car.
I looked behind the engine near bulkhead but cant see it, should I be looking under the car?
Also does anyone know the part numbers or wire length and number of pins for them because I don't know which one I should be buying.

My eml came on 2 months ago code was p-0420 bank 1 cat system below threshold, my mate told me to put original airbox/filter back on which i did and then he deleted code, had no problems since i have a standard cupra r 225.
Hope this may help

My one is throwing p0030 code, b1 s1, I thought I would find the lambda by looking under the bonnet but will have to try to get the car up and look underneath because I cant see it behind the engine.

The NGK site has a very basic generic diagram of where the pre cat sensor would be but doesent help specifically looking at a seat Leon.

You will need to jack up the car and get underneath to get to it.

Jack up from the right hand side as the electrical connectors are under a cover on that side. It is just in front of the Cat after the downpipe, on the upper side of the exhaust pipe, you will see the wires going to pre and post cat lambda's.

Good luck with sorting the code.

And those are two plastic nuts holding the cover over the electrical connections, 10mm socket you'll need - make sure you get a 6-sided socket and not a 12, less chance of rounding off the plastic ;)

Thats the wrong sensor in the picture. If your code is b1 s1 irs pre cat which is in the downpipe. Look down over the back of the engine and you will see it poking out the side of the downpipe.
