Hello all.
So today i had a dyno session booked in at badger5.
I booked this in just to prove a point to some of the doubters on facebook forums.
Since fitting my 3" turbo back system its transformed the performance, others said its in my head as its just louder.
My bum dyno tells me different.
So as said this is to prove the correct bolt on mods do add power.
Mods are, evoms intake, full 3" turbo back, stock map.

Anyhow, i turn up at badger5, bill get the tea out and chat about cars, im always learning every time i pop up lol

So we ran 3 power runs

The result is in, 275 bhp :)
Im really pleased with that, 35bhp higher than stock on a tough dyno.

Just goes to show, the correct mods can produce bolt on power :)

Lovely motor mate, remember you with a MK1. Im back on here with a MK2 too.

Interested in your headunit, looks good. Can't find a price online though :-\

Quick question, why does the WHP climb every run but the engine power drop???

No idea why that is.

Thanks dude, i love the mk2. The stereo is from a company called witson, they have a few different models to suit your needs. Really recommend it.

 very impressive increase with the same map [B)]

I like to think so :) really does feel great, fast and im not in the stupid high torque zone when traction is a issue.

nice one.
you have got to love proving people wrong.

Its nice forsure, but still a few people not convinced
Some saying these tfsi make more than manufactures claim. But not 35bhp and 37ftlb on a tough dyno ;)

Also been a badboy and ordered my new front mount intercooler. This is a unbranded cooler but the same size as ths. Some say this is the ths cooler before it reaches ths ;)

I'm surprised you didn't get it mapped while you were there! You waiting for all the supporting mods and then going 2+?

Yeah thats right, going straight in for stage2+. Believe it or not this is meant to be a cost effective car for me. What i have learn from my past projects, its cheaper to go striaght to the desired stage of tuning rather than progressing through the stages.

Next up is a uprated clutch and hpfp :)

Are you going to make the trip to Bills for this MK2 K04 thing? I am having a really tough time deciding what to replace the mk 1 with so it would be good to see a few new ones to convince me.

Finally wired in my boost gauge.

I was under the impression installing gauges on these cars was tricky, far easier than the Mk1 :)
