Need your opinions, good & bad.

Do I save up and spend 2.5k+ on the LCR doing rods, B5 exhaust manifold, BBT proper hybrid and WMI etc.... or do I transplant in a K04 TFSI and map that?????

I think both will cost roughly the same, I really want around 330bhp and 350lb/ft.

I think he meant which turbo setup to go for.. TFSI turbo can be made hybrid too

Nope, I meant a full engine transplant, as the TFSI can produce the numbers with very little modification

That would be a right **** job transplanting that engine. Do they slot straight in or do you have the fabricate mounts etc,

I have read you can use the 1.8t mounts, gearbox cables and such should be ok, more concerned with the ecu side of things to be honest as i would want all the gauges to work like O.E

Get a standalone ECU on it like an omex and assemble a nice wiring harness to go with it. If you do this please make a guide lol. What about driveshafts lining up with the new gearbox etc?

I imagine the driveshaft PCD should be the same if not, can always get new shafts with a mk5 golf gti inner and the cupra-r outer.

hhhmmm need to spend some more time researching
