Hi every one my names Matt and I just brought a 2003 cupra r this week in black with about 95000 miles. I brought it knowing that it needed a bit of work both mechanical and cosmetic. I want to get it mechanically sound first then get it over to a body shop for them to do there bit :)
have had the car a couple of days and today I have done 2 tyres and rear discs + pads, I have ready to fit a cambelt kit, water pump and aux belt which I will do on Wednesday.
I looked over it today and noticed that it needs another 2 tyres, top mount, lower arms, rear springs :(
I'm going to get updated bushes for the lower arms and top mounts, I'm also thinking about fitting a set of lowering springs as one rear one is snapped but I'm not sure which ones to go for
Anyway thats about it  I will get a project log up but I think I need some more posts first
Cheers :)

Hi yea I have read about the tt bushes but I think im going to try the powerflex ones first and if I dont like them I will swap them out. I have just ordered a set of the h@r springs as I think 20mm will be enough for now lol it all really touches the floor now geting on the drive and it dont have a splitter on :)
