Ok folks bit of an open ended question...got a lovely LCR 2003. Pretty much standard apart from a catch can and scorpion exhaust. Standard map, not keen on having it remapped..yet. Looking for the next thing to buy for noise, induction kit maybe, if so which one and where to buy or a recirc valve is it!? Wouldn't mind some nice noises if you catch my drift, again which one and where to buy. Any help appreciated! :)

Hello mate. Richie on here makes custom heatshields for the lcr. Then just get either a Jetex 80mm filter or Pipercross which are both popular. Then you will just need a 80mm silicon joiner. Recirc valve either a Forge 007 or 008.

Yeah you will mate not as loud as atmospheric but they are not ideal for 1.8t. Remove the sound deadening from the bonnet and it will be louder.

Get the Badger 5 tip mate. And I'd go for Richies heatshield everyones well pleased with them. Can get the 80mm pipercross filter from Awesome

Badger 5 tip and this - http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l...fb89e4b2c2e4172fd67c045955c0d178fcfaad&000008

Fits straight into the MAF. That's the one I've got matey.

Just from the TIP you'll immediately notice there's a slightly louder dump, the turbo spools quicker and louder and there's a lovely deep grumble from the engine. An open cone filter gives a nice "whoosh" when you give it the berries!

How are the doors holding up? We've had monster rain in notts! Still dry?

100% badger5 tip. Great piece of kit.
Coupled with a cone filter (I have the jetex) you'll get a bit of whoosh dump.
if you want real noise go for the forge split-r. People slate em but if you take the time to set them up properly they're good. I had one for years and they make a good fluttery sound. I just happen to prefer the not so loud sound of a 007p so swapped it.
just my 2 pence...
